How do I find out my level for workshops?

Leveled workshops are a fairly new concept in the West Coast Swing circuit and it is rapidly gaining global popularity. Each leveled workshop allows for dancers to work on specific skills that are appropriate to their current level and helps them work towards the next level.

The levels for workshops are assigned based on skill level for West Coast Swing dance competitions as outlined by the World Swing Dance Council. They are outlined as follows:

  • Level 1 - Novice
  • Level 2 - Intermediate
  • Level 3 - Advanced
  • Level 4 - All-Star

We also offer Level Auditions on Friday for all those dancers who would like to audition up to a level higher than the one they are assigned. The audition will be in a group format where all dancers will be asked to dance with a random partner to a random song and the auditioning instructors will assign the appropriate level.
